One thing I really hate about surface wiring, is when they use the smallest capping possible and stuff it full of wires.

Even if it weren't dangerous, it would have been a HUGE aggravation for any electrician that had to do work in there wondering where all the wires went.

The 2x10s worked good. I tied them off first and hung them in position on the first few by myself and put a ladder in the water to nail them off. The rest I got some help and let my help tie them off and I went in the water with a raft and nailed them off. Don't laugh, I didn't have a boat as of yet I could use. The waves were a bit troublesome to work with, but I got it done. Now I got to do the conduit to the lights and to the dock.

It's definitely Irish. Key switch... interesting idea! Ours in Austria usually look different and the key actually turns like in a door lock but you might be onto something!

Here is the 2nd photo. It shows it a little closer where I want to put my weather head.

Hope this picture makes it through alright. This is one of two I'll try to upload. The other one will show the corner where the service drop is. I plan on running the riser up from the same location on the back, up through the decking, then using a 90 to go to the corner. The weather head will be facing away from the deck.

The neutral bar in this picture is broken, and has been remounted somehow and attached to the frame of the panel, thus not allowing for the isolation of neutrals and grounds. I am doing some add on work out of this panel, and will have to be inspected. Looks like I will need to get another neutral bar that will fit in this panel, then install a ground bar for the grounds. Anyone know where I might get a neutral bar like this? If I have to, I guess I will have to try to make another brand work if I can find it. Too late to call the supply house. Don't know if they even carry neutral bars this big or not. Thanks
