Discovered this in an old attic space of a school. Abandoned in the 50's when an addition was built. The old leather drive belt was laying on the floor next to the blower. The school is a WWI Memorial school so this equipment is probably from the early 20's.


Notice the two layers of cork for vibration isolation.


Motor is 220V, 3/4 HP, 400 frame. I was suprised that the label gives a temperature rise rating in ºC, 50 years before we tried and failed at the metric system.
